Character Creation Guide

WoS roleplay is optional and does not require character sheets to play.
You may only choose from the races below. Any other type (race) not included in our lore will be considered "out of character" (ex. Furries, Nekos, Mermaids, Hucows, Etc).
Not approved races are welcome to visit, rent and explore but not roleplay.
Playable character Types

Human ( Natural )
Natural born human without any remarkable defects or special abilities.
Werewolves
Natural born shapeshifter with the ability to turn into a wolf either purposely or by the call of the moon.
Cannot infect others.
Human ( Infected, zombies )
Human infected with the Romero virus.
Feral and non-feral.
Witches/Warlocks
Born with the ability to use magic as an innate talent, passing down their knowledge and skills through generations of family lines.
Vampire ( Lost Souls )
A new race entirely. They are born, not made.
Cannot infect others.

Animals
Natural and realistic animals without
any special abilities. Cannot talk.

Aliens (The Grays)
Extraterrestrial beings looking for a new home on earth and experimenting on humans.
Ghosts
Spirits of the dead.
can only appear in certain conditions.

Create a Background (optional):
Writing a complete background can be time-consuming. So, if you want something quick, I recommend answering the following questions…

Where were you born? (name, location, interesting features)

Who were your family? (family members, social class, profession)

Name one mystery, conflict, or significant past event

As a general rule, when developing your background, try to be dramatic but not over the top. In the long run, it is more interesting to have weaknesses, barriers to overcome, and difficult goals to fulfill than to have abundance, power, or
effortless strength.
Limits:
It is a good idea to list the types of role-play you don't want to be a part of. No one should be forced to participate in any scene that makes them uncomfortable or go against their beliefs.

Background: Steve was raised in Missing Mile, NC. He works in a record shop in his home town called the Whirling Disc. He is described as tall and wiry, with a hawkish nose, and long black hair he rarely washes. Steve is proud and stubborn, drinks to excess, and is prone to violent outbursts. He is haunted by the memory of his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Ann, which he terminated abruptly on discovery of her infidelity.
